Part 4
A few months pass by,both Arjun and Kainaat got busy in their lives and works where ETF was busy in solving cases while Kainaat's studies were going well. Around 4 months were left when Kayaan's college was going to complete and soon she would face the outside world and fulfill her dreams...Karan,Aisha,Kunaal and there was one more person who was really happy with completion of college...
It was late night when Arjun as usual stood in the balcony looking at the moon and cherishing his life's beautiful moments with Roshni...while Kayaan too looked at the moon from her room's window and held a pic in her hands...she was happy with the thought that her soon she'll be taking one more step towards her dream and the most important she wouldn't need to stay away from her dear ones any more, finally she would step out of the hostel and be with her loved ones...
She caressed the photo and a lone tear escaped her eyes
Kayaan(MV) : Bas 4 months aur fir aap mere pass hoge...i miss you a lot...and I promise iske baad fir kabhi aapko mujhse dur nhi rehna padega...

Few days later Karan and Kainaat along with few more students were selected to go to Pune for some college event. Soon the event was over and they were returning to Mumbai by bus. An hour pass by when their journey had started. The bus was stopped by the driver when 2 persons came in its way.One of the person showed his id and asked the driver if the bus was going to Mumbai. Getting a positive reply from driver the first person walked up to the other one saying "Arjun Sir yeh bus Mumbai jaa rhi hain..."
Arjun who stood leaning on the suv took his gun saying "lets go .." and then headed towards the bus while putting his gun behind.
(The first person was Chotu. Arjun and Chotu had to go to Pune following a lead and were returning but their suv broke down few minutes back in the mid of the highway where it was difficult to get a mechanic. They had to get a lift and to their good luck they didn't have to wait much in the cold breeze of winter's November month. Chotu took a sigh of relief seeing the bus coming because standing outside in winter and that too with their akdu n sadu boss wasn't an easy task.)
Arjun stepped inside the bus followed by Chotu. As soon as Arjun took few more steps inside he noticed Kayaan who sat at the window side while Karan sat beside her. Soon anger occupied his head remembering their past meetings, Kayaan was angry as well seeing him inside the same bus while Karan just sent the silent prayers to prevent another war between them. Chotu who was behind Arjun was a bit surprised seeing him stopping abruptly, he asked "kya hua Sir??"
Arjun kept silent and walked further and acquired a seat at the back. Meanwhile Kayaan voiced out to Karan "Karan meri samajh mein nhi aata yeh har uss jagah kyun aa jata hain jaha main hoti hoon???pata nhi iski problem kya hain??"
Karan:relax Chashmish...yeh public transport hain isme koi bhi travel kar sakta hain...woh bhi...and why are you getting angry???He didn't say anything to you na??
Kayaan: aur agar kaha toh uske liye acha nhi hoga...aur tumne khud dekha na khud ki gadi kya kharab hui beech raste mein bus rukva di...pata nhi yeh kya prove karna chahta hain??oh yes apne power aur paiso ka dikhawa karne ka ek chance nhi chodta hain yeh "Rash Driver"...
Karan: bas Chashmish...calm down...and promise me you won't say a single word to him this time...plz Chashmish...
Kayaan: ok ...i won't par agar usne kuch kaha then don't blame me for breaking any promise...
Karan: theek hain...
Karan(MV): hey bhagwan isse pehle yeh dono fir se jhagda shuru kare usse pehle humein Mumbai pahucha dijeye...
Next half an hour pass by and the bus stopped stopped in front of a dhabba...All passengers stepped out of the bus . Karan voice out "Chashmish chalo..."
Kayaan: nhi tum jao I'm fine here...
Karan: ok...do you want something to eat??
Kayaan: nhi...
Karan: ok i'll just come (he looked back for once to see that Arjun was also inside the bus)and plz don't
(she snapped him short and said)
Kayaan: haan haan theek hain...i won't say anything to him...now go...
Karan moved out but he knew he had to return asap as only Arjun and Kayaan were left inside
While Chotu had already stepped outside the bus...
Kayaan slide the window glass to have a view of outside...A smile crept up her face seeing a family where the kids were demanding their favorite snacks from their parents...
Her gaze shifted a bit a she saw that 2 kids...the boy was smaller while the girl who appeared to be his elder sister were asking for some food from one of the men of worked in the dhabba...
Her slight smile instantly vanished seeing the pathetic conditions of kids...Soon anger took over her senses seeing the person scolding kids and telling them to leave the place .
The kids voiced out they hadn't consumed anything from 2 days and were very hungry...but it seemed like the pleadings and the poor conditions of kids didn't affect that stone hearted person...He pushed the boy a bit and he fell down on the ground and cried out as he was hurt...his sister walked upto him and was crying too...
Kayaan couldn't tolerate more and her anger was on peak she immediately stood up and almost ran to move out of the bus. Meanwhile Arjun who had finished messaging some info to Sameer wanted to have his cutting chai so he stood up and headed towards the door.
He had just reached the first step of the bus felt someone holding his shirt . He looked back to find that it was the same girl. Kayaan held his hand and slightly pushed him to a side so that she could step out first. Her action made him fume with anger while Kayaan who had just taken a step further was caught back by him.
Arjun firmly gripped her hand and pulled her back to himself and they both stood facing each other . Kayaan was in no mood to talk to him at that time and tried to free her hand while her gaze was fixed outside.
Arjun voiced out "tumhari problem kya hain??kyun tum har baar"
But Kayaan interrupted him as at that moment there was something more important to handle outside. She voiced out while trying to free herself "Listen i don't have time for your all this crap so let me go ...there is something more important i need to sought out rather waste my time on your silly ego fight with me ...so just leave me "
Seeing him not leaving her hand Kayaan pushed him with all her strength...while Arjun who didn't expect this reaction left her hand in impulse...Kayaan took the opportunity and walked out but Arjun wouldn't let her walk out not unless she answers his questions...
He too walked outside and saw that Kayaan ran towards the kids. The kids were a bit scared after they were scolded so they hesitated a bit to take her help. Kayaan understood that and said "aap dono daro matt main bas aapki madad kar rahi hoon"
Kayaan knelt down in front of the boy and asked if was hurt anywhere??
the boy replied in a no and she was bit relieved.She helped him to stand and then walked upto that person saying "tumhari himmat kaise hui in baccho se aise pesh aane ki???"
The person replied "Madam aap iss matt padiye...inka roz ka hain...jab dekho khana magne chale aate hain...bikhari kahi ke."
Before he could voice some other crap against the kids Kayaan poked in between saying "band karo apni bakwaas...aur ek shabd matt kehna inke khilaf warna na tum rahoge aur na hi tumhara yeh dhaba..."
Kayaan : aur kya keh rhe the tum???yeh khana magne aate hain huh??toh agar tum inhe do roti bhi khila dete toh tumhara yeh dhaba ghate(loss) main nhi chal jata...aur na hi tum uss khane ko bacha kar baut ameer bann jate..."
She walked back to the kids and made them sit on the bench and ordered food for them. Meanwhile Arjun for the first time stood dumbstruck seeing her fighting for those unknown kids and somewhere he admired this act of her and realized this was the reason why she wanted to go out of the bus hurriedly. He reached that person and gave his special SYS session to him.
Karan also reached there and found Kayaan with 2 unknown kids. He sat beside her while she was feeding the small boy with her hands . He smiled at her concern and felt proud of his friend.
On the other hand Arjun stood aside witnessing the whole scene where she managed to be friends with those kids in just few minutes. Seeing the kids smiling and talking a slight smile crept up his face which was unknown to himself.
The kids finished their food , Kayaan told Karan to stay with them and she went to pay the bill. As she turned to leave the person came to her for apologizing (result of Arjun sys treatment).
Kayaan voiced out "ek baat achi tarah yaad rakhna ..dobara inse ya kisi bhi bache se aise pesh matt aana warna i promise dobara koi dhaba chalane layak nhi rahoge" saying this she left.
She returned to the kids and handed them chocolates. The kids smiled and kissed either side of her face saying a thank you in return.
The cold breeze was increasing and Kayaan realized that the boy was shivering a bit.She removed the shawl from her shoulders and covered him with it and told them to return home as the cold was increasing.
The kids bid bye and left. Kayaan then looked at Karan who stood smiling so she asked "ab tumhe kya hua??"
Karan: kuch nhi Chashmish...bas kehna tha that i'm proud of you...come lets go...
they stepped back inside the bus and later all the passengers all settled and the bus left.
Due to traffic and cold weather the reached Mumbai about one and a half hr later.At the bus stand Kayaan noticed Arjun while he was leaving and then remembered what he did at the door step and wanted to answer back to his misbehavior which she was unable to do before. But Karan stopped him saying "rehne do na Chashmish...unhe shayad pata nhi tha..." and after lots of pleadings he convinced her to let go off the matter
And once again both Arjun and Kainaat left in their own directions
