part3(a)The week  pass by Kayaan tried to overcome that day's incident(when she had met arjun) and also about her dad's interview and to live back her normal college life... it was also true that it wasn't so easy for her ...

It was Saturday around 4:00 pm, Kainaat and Karan went to the orphanage...seeing Kainaat the kids were really happy...firstly they went to meet Aunty(Aisha's mother). She was also happy to see them after a week...later Karan got busy playing cricket with few boys while Kainaat enjoyed with kids by helping them in drawings and paintings...Karan was bit relieved seeing her smiling and knew only the presence if these innocent kids  could make her smile and let go her all problems at least for sometime.

An hour later the kids wanted to go to a nearby park...Kainaat and Karan took the kids with them...few kids went to on the swings so Karan went along with them while some of them  to play  blindfold with Kayaan...and it was then her turn to tie the cloth on her eyes...Kayaan bent on her knees smilingly and one of the kid tied the cloth around her eyes...soon she caught Ananya(an eight yr old girl) and it was then Ananya's turn...but before the game again began Kayaan realized that Rahul(a five yr boy was missing)...she asked Pooja (she was one of the worker of orphanage who looked after kids) about him...but  pooja replied that she had no idea as she was also involved in the game...Kayaan was really worried for him...she told Pooja to stay with  rest of the kids and she herself would look for Rahul...

Kayaan looked everywhere in the park but was unable to find the boy , it worried her more...she came at the gates of park and what she saw made the shocked...rahul was in the mid of the busy road and was trying to cross one lane and go to the other side...Kayaan looked in front and realized the l'll boy wanted to reach the balloon seller who was on the other side...as he was very fond of different colored balloons...

Kainaat without even thinking twice rushed to him...since the road was busy it was difficult to reach Rahul...passing through many cars Kayaan crossed the lane... she was calling Rahul's name many times but of no use...meanwhile he was almost going to reach the other side...his eyes was fixed on the balloons and he missed to notice one SUV proceeding towards him...Kayaan saw this and was hell scared...she hurriedly headed towards  him not thinking about herself just for once...

before the SUV could hit Rahul she pushed  him out of the way  but in this process her foot slipped and she fell on the ground and in the very next second she heard the noise of the brakes and looked beside to see that the SUV was just an inch away ...the person who was driving immediately applied brakes seeing a girl falling in his way...he got down the suv to help her...meanwhile Kayaan was trying to get up but her foot and  elbow were  injured...

the person moved towards her and found her struggling to get up...he held out his hand for help...Kayaan who was trying to get up herself looked at a hand which was held out for help  and then shifted her gaze to see the person and was shocked to see him...and that to "again"...both voiced out at the same time ...the person-"tum???"...kayaan-"you??"(yes the person was none other than ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte)

Seeing him she flared up..that day's incident flashed in front of her eyes and to add up to that today's incident made her more furious...she tried to get up but her foot didn't allow...

Few hrs back Arjun was undercover and was dressed in a casual jeans,t-shirt along with a jacket (the same which he had wore during a case when he following Charlie and Shubhanker's wife)he was following the prime suspect Charlie.Later when he was returning he got a call from Shree who informed that he had sent him the required mail. When Arjun had almost finished reading the matter  of  the mail he started driving the suv...reading the mail he kept his phone on the dashboard and just for few seconds  he took off his gaze from the road and in a while he  saw a girl falling in front of the suv...he immediately applied brakes on time or else for the first time his one mistake could harm an innocent life and he was guilty about it...he rushed out of the suv to help the girl and saw that she was injured and was finding it hard to get up and so he held out his hand for help and when the girl looked upto him he received a shock to 'her'...he clearly remembered her and there was no chance that he  could  forget her...the girl who had dared to raise her on him and even answered him back.Arjun frowned remembering their first meet...on the other hand, Kayaan was no better she remembered him,the guy who misbehaved with her in the parking lot and today he was again in front of her  and the realization that if she hadn't pushed Rahul out of the way he might have almost killed the l'll boy made her more angry...

She tried to get up and Arjun's snapped out of his thoughts seeing her struggling to get up...he tried to control his anger because today it was him who was at fault and was also guilty about it.Kayaan ignored and didn't bother to take his help although she was unable to stand.Her ignorance to his help made him realize that he was dealing with a very stubborn girl...so he backed off but at the same time his guilt forced him to help her as somewhere he was responsible for her condition so he bent down and held her by shoulders and made her stand.But his action crossed the limits of her patience and her anger was on heights...

As he made her stand their eyes locked for a moment and being an sharp observer he could read fear and some unknown pain in her innocent eyes but she tried to coverup all this with her anger...Kayaan trance broke and she immediately jerked away his hands from her shoulder and voiced out "dur raho mujhse..."

She just wanted to slap him again for his careless attitude but before she could voice out anything further she heard  Rahul's sobbing and she looked back to see that the l'll boy was scared and was crying  badly...she walked upto Rahul ignoring Arjun and decide to tackle this 'rash driver' later...at that instance Rahul was more important to her...while Arjun who expected a blast from her was surprised to see her moving back quietly...Kayaan  was unable to walk properly to she took the support of the suv...despite her injuries and pain she knelt down in front of Rahul and the innocent and scared kid hugged her ...she hugged him back and caressed his hair...she knew that he was frightened witnessing the whole scene...Kayaan parted and wiped off his tears saying "its okay Rahul..kuch nhi hua hain...look sab theek hain...aap toh mere strong aur good boy aur Karan bhaiyya ke champ ho na??"

Rahul nodded in a yes while wiping off his tears with his l'll fingers ...Kayaan smiled a bit and further said "good and no more crying...kyunki champs rote thodi na hain..." . She again hugged him and was a relieved that at least he was fine...and now she had to handle "someone else"

Meanwhile Arjun who was a silent spectator to this scene  somewhere admired was impressed with the way the girl in front of her handled the young boy calmly but was also sad that because of him the boy was scared.

Arjun spoke to them "listen miss woh main"
but Kayaan stood up ignoring her pain and snapped him short saying "you listen to me...manners toh pehle hi nhi the ab kya driving sense bhi nhi raha?agar aaj iss bache ko kuch ho jata toh??what if i didn't put him off your way...you almost killed him...
Arjun: dekho main bas apna phone dashboard par rakh raha tha ki
(she again interrupted him)
Kayaan: ya right phone...i should have known this...the guys like you don't have any importance of other innocent people...and why am even talking about this?? the only thing that matters to you people is only your lives...

(he was unable to take more of her words and spoke up in equally raised voice)
Arjun:what do you mean by 'guys like me' and are you still unaware that who i am??

(Kayaan thought "there he goes again...a typical rich guy who was again showing off hi money power and to his bad luck his dress up confirmed her opinion about him)

Kayaan: i mean the rich spoilt brats like you... who don't want to look beyond themselves and their money power.

(Arjun now understand that she was really unaware about his identity and was misunderstanding him as a rich guy)

Arjun:dekho miss i know i did a mistake and you're misunderstanding me...

In an impulse Kayaan moved a step ahead taking her hands away from the suv which supported her to stand and was about to loose her balance but she instantly took the support of suv again meanwhile Arjun forwarded his hand  to support her but she gestured him to stop and said "kitni baar kehna padega dur raho mujhse...i don't need any support especially not yours...and i'm not misunderstanding you...aur what did you say it was a mistake???...of course you people often do such mistakes and after destroying innocent lives you people easily back off saying that 'it was just a mistake... right???

Arjun:enough okay...i heard  enough of your crap...kuch bol nhi nhi hoon that doesn't mean you can  say whatever comes to your mind...kya sunna chahti ho that i'm wrong??...ok fine  sunno i am wrong and  i am really "sorry" aaj pehli baar kisi se bol raha hoon...and i a mean it

Kayaan:ek simple sorry bolne mein itni problem ho rhi hain and you say that i'm misunderstanding you...

Arjun: just  stop your crap right now...warna

(Kayaan cut short his words)
Kayaan:just shut up...apni yeh dhamki kisi aur ko dena...i'm not scared of you nor do i care who are you and it will be better for you if you get this thing straight in your head as early as possible
(poor girl she didn't even have a clue with whom she was messing with)

Arjun was irritated and angry to heights...no one and absolutely no one had even once dared to speak with him in such a raised tone and this girl...she had yelled at him in public and even slapped him on their first meet...he thought that she must be courageous or completely mad for talking no he corrected on shouting on  a ACP like that...

Arjun: i guess you have no idea with whom you are dealing with...and what all can i do to you for messing up with

But before he could complete his sentence saying that he was an ACP, Karan along with Pooja(worker of orphanage)came their to handle the fight between the two. He looked at Kayaan who was badly injured and was fuming with anger. He came to he asking in a concerned tone "tum theek toh ho na??"

Kayaan nodded in a yes and he supported her to stand and further asked "yeh  kaise hua??"

Kayaan: its all because of him agar Rahul ko hataya nhi hota toh yeh aaj usse maar hi deta
(saying this she looked at  Arjun and following her gaze Karan looked at the person and was shocked to see him.Karan that who he was)

Arjun voiced out looking at Karan "aur  maine apologize bhi kiya but that doesn't reach to her deaf ears"

Kayaan:toh sorry keh kar you didn't do any favor to me it was only your mistake and you should be sorry for that but instead you are warning me and saying i the one to misinterpret the situation...

Karan understood their fight would soon take  a face  a war as Kayaan didn't knew that he was a police officer so he stepped between the fight.Moreover he had to get her out of this mess asap and he knew he had to deal with her anger calmly.

Karan(looking at Arjun)look i'm sorry on her behalf...

(kayaan was surprised to see him apologizing to Arjun)
Kayaan:tum iss rash driver ko kyun sorry bol rahe ho?? I told you that it was his mistake ..

(till then few people gathered around them witnessing the scene)

Karan:ok fine it was his mistake but look you're hurt and we should leave

Kayaan: Karan why are you taking his side??

Karan:main kisiki side nhi le raha hoon and let me tell he's a
(but he abruptly stopped before voicing out that the person in front of her was a police officer .And if he'll tell Kayaan that he is only ACP Arjun  then surely she would get more angry and this fight would never end...)

Karan:ok you only tell me he did apologize for his mistake...didn't he??
(she unwillingly nodded in affirmation)

Karan:see you also agree to that so just finish this matter right here...plz Chashmish chalo...let's go from here...ok mere liye nhi toh Rahul ke liye look he's still scared...
(both looked back at him)

Karan:chale??
Kayaan:hmm...
Karan:chalo Champ let's go...Pooja you take her.
(and he picked up Rahul)

Once Kainaat left with Pooja he voiced out to Arjun
Karan:look Mr.Arjun i am really sorry for her rude behavior ...its just that she cares about Rahul a lot aur jab yeh bina bataye yaha aa gaya toh bahut darr gyi thi...(Arjun nodded in a ok)...and you(to Rahul)agli baar bina bataye kahi mat jaana pata hain dii kitna darr gyi thi ...
Rahul:sorry bhaiyaa
Karan:mujhse nhi Champ inse aur dii se bolna...
Rahul(looking at Arjun)i'm sorry ...

Arjun smiled at him and replied ruffling his hair "koi baat nhi...par next time se mat karna...ok??"

Rahul:ok...

Both Arjun and Kainaat moved in totally opposite direction where Arjun drove back to office and Kainaat returned back to the orphanage with kids

While heading back to the orphanage,Kainaat told that no one would tell Aunty about this accident as she'll unnecessarily get worried...Once they reached Pooja took kids to their rooms and then left to prepare snack for them
Meanwhile Aunty saw Kainaat injured and asked
Aunty:yeh sab kaise hua beta??
Kainaat:kuch nhi Aunty...woh bas aise thodi si chot lag gyi thi...
Aunty:aise hi matlab??
Karan:haan actually Aunty hum khel rahe the...
Aunty:khelne mein itni chot lagti hain??
Kainaat:plz Aunty aap chinta mat kariye its just a small cut i'll be fine...
Aunty:acha theek hain baad mein baat karte hain first get your wounds dressed...
She went to bring the first-aid box while Kayaan voiced out
Kayaan:and you
Karan:but Chashmish ab maine kya kiya??
Kayaan:tum waha uski side kyun le rahe the???
Karan:Chashmish its ok i know he did wrong par tum kuch zyaada hi react kar rahi ho...

Kayaan:main over react kar rhi hoon??agar Rahul ko kuch ho jata to??

Karan:usse kuch nhi hoga...tum ho na...aur waise bhi Rahul is fine and that's the most important thing right??

Kayaan:hmm...par Karan koi itna irresponsible kaise ho sakta hain...kyun inn logon ki life mein innocent logon ki koi value nhi hoti(she meant rich kids of high society)...tum aur main bhi toh uss rich class ko belong karte hain par iska matlab yeh toh nhi na ki hum insaniyat bhul jaye??...(after a pause) i mean main belong karti thi...

Karan:why do say that?? tum aaj bhi Kainaat Malhotra ho...ek incident sab badal toh nhi deta na??

Kayaan:nhi Karan sab badal gaya hain dad-mom aur shayad main bhi...aaj ka sach yahi hain ki main sirf Kainaat...nothing more than that...aur shayad tum bhul gaye par main nhi Karan...aaj tak dad ka harr ek word yaad hain aur uss din interview mein bhi toh...but Karan maine kabhi bhi nhi woh rich status nhi chaha tha...i just wanted that mom-dad mere sath rahe that's it...par ab sath toh dur woh mujh par trust tak nhi karte...kyun Karan ???why only me???

(Karan knew today's incident was more than enough to bring back her past painful memories and he couldn't do anything to bring her out of them...he was helpless)

Kainaat:you know what  i just pray woh mujhe dobara kabhi na mile...i just hate that rash driver...

Karan(mind voice):tum unse iss ek incident ke baad itni nafrat karne lagi ho.agar maine bata diya ki woh ek police officer hain toh pata nhi tum kaise react karogi????main tumhe nhi bata sakta woh kaun hain...tumhe ek baar fir...no i won't let that happen...i just also pray tum dobara Arjun se kabhi na milo...

Karan:acha forget all this...waise tumhe pata hain tumhe dekh kar koi nhi keh sakta that you are too part of that high society...aur mere baare mein toh tumhe pata hi i'm the best ...mujhse better friend nhi milega tumhe(he said to cheer her up)

Kainaat(smiled weekly at him and said):tumhe apne baare mein bahut misunderstanding hain ki tum best ho...par ek baat toh hain i know tumse better friend nhi milega mujhe...

Karan:i know that Chashmish...

(they both smiled at each other)

While Aunty stood aside hearing their conversation...she had arrived few seconds back when Kainaat was talking about her family so she stopped trying not to interfere between the two best friends

Karan's gaze shifted to her.He walked upto her and took the first-aid box saying he'll dress her wounds...Aunty left and Karan came back to Kainaat

While Karan put the antiseptic liquid on the cotton he looked at her,while she  looked exchanging fearful looks between the cotton and Karan.He couldn't help but to smile at her fearful looks and her pleading eyes which said to keep that antiseptic liquid away...he knew she was really scared of this antiseptic since childhood and the pain which she faced while getting injured was nothing in front of it when it was applied on her wounds...he very well remembered that when they were kids an she was hurt...the most tough task was to apply medicine on her wounds...she used to escape seeing it and her nanny used to search for her in the whole mansion...but failed and the only person who was allowed to apply that scary liquid was only their Kunal bhaiya...

He was the only one who could handle her fears and sadness but the worst part came 3 years back when even Kunal miserably failed to bring back her true smile and happiness and till today no one could manage to bring her back to life...

Kayaan voiced out "Karan tum itna zyaada yeh antiseptic liquid kyun le rahe ho??"

Karan(said to tease her) : Ab Chashmish chot zyaada lagi hain toh zyaada toh lena hi padega na??

Kainaat:par zyaada chot kaha lagi hain...bas 2-3 small cuts hi toh hain na??(she exclaimed like a kid)

Karan:haan toh unn  2-3 small cuts par bhi itna hi lagana padega Chashmish...waise tumhe darr toh nhi lag raha na??.

Kainaat:mujhe kisi se darr nhi lagta samjhe tum

Karan:really Chashmish??(he asked looking intently at her)

Kayaan gave up and replied "okay fine...kabhi-kabhi isse darr lagta hain..."

Karan:haan  Chashmish kabhi-kabhi lagta hain par ab bhi lag raha hain kya??

Kayaan:shut-up...par Karan isse bahut dard hoga na??

Karan:acha jab giri thi tab dard nhi hua tha??

Kayaan:arre par woh toh Rahul ke liya

Karan(interrupting her): acha theek hain...tum daro mat main bahut slowly apply karunga aur tumhe bilkul dard nhi hoga...

Kayaan:pakka??

Karan:haan baba pakka...ab thodi der chup baithi raho...

As he took the cotton near to her elbow's wound she tightly closed her eyes and when it touched her wound she screamed

Karan:kya hain chashmish??itna chilla kyun rhi ho??

Kayaan:ab itni zor se apply karoge ko dard nhi hoga??

Karan:zor se???for your information yeh slowly tha hi tha madam...zor se karke dikhaun kya??

Kayaan:nhi-nhi...

Karan:so just sit quietly...

After lots of screams and fights finally Karan managed to bandage her elbow.He took a long breadth and voiced out "finally...agar itni hard work maine kisi medical college mein kiya hota toh pakka doctor bann jata"

Kayaan:matlab??

Karan:matlab yeh Chashmish itna toh koi chota baccha bhi chillata ya darta nhi hoga...jitna tum darti ho...

Kayaan:oh plz rehne do...aur waise bhi sabko kisi na kisi cheez se darr lagta hain...and you are also no exception

Karan:Chashmish mujhe kisi cheez se darr nhi lagta...

Kayaan: i very  well know that

Karan:dekho tum

just then a voice came from behind saying "tum dono ne fir ladna shuru kar diya??"

Both looked behind and saw Aisha standing with a smile and Karan voiced out "nhi dii pehle isne shuru kiya tha..."

Kayaan:what??maine shuru kiya ya tumne??

Karan:tumne

Kayaan:nhi tumne..

Aisha:ok stop all this...tum dono se puchna hi bekar hain...waise ladh kyun rahe the???

Karan and Kainaat looked inquiringly at each other and then said "pata nhi dii..."
Aisha:well i should have known...it was my mistake
Then her eyes fell on Kayaan't hurted elbow and she asked "yeh kaise hua Kayaan??"
Karan:Di...aapki pyaari Kayaan kisi ke sath ladh kar ayi hain...
(Aisha looked at her and she voiced out)
Kayaan:nhi di...woh galti uski thi...aapko nhi pata woh Rash Driver kaise drive kar raha tha aur Rahul uski suv ke samne aa gaya tha...
Aisha:but Kayaan i still didn't get my answer...tumhe chot kaise lagi???
Karan:main batata hoon di...yeh aaj kal apne aapko super girl samajne lagi hain...ek toh bina dekhe road cross ki aur upar se unki car ke samne kud gayi
Aisha(lookinh at her with anger)Kayaan what is all this???tumne toh kabhi itna irresponsibe behavior show nhi kiya fir aaj??

Kayaan:nhi dii...aisa nhi hain...agar maine time par Rahul ko hataya nhi hota toh woh Rash Driver ...he had almost killed him...aur ta mere pass itna time nhi tha ki main kuch aur soch pati...Rahul ki life se badhkar kuch nhi tha dii...aap bhi shayad yahi karti...
Aisha:i understand Kayaan...but just remember one thing from next time hamare liye tumme aur Rahul mein koi farak nhi hain...you all are equally important to me and maa...and i'll not be able to handle if something happens to you...just remember that...ok??
Kayaan nodded in a yes.Karan voiced out to lighten the situation
Karan(said while posing to wipe off his fake tears)kya dii aap dono ne toh mujhe emotional kar diya...yeh Chashmish toh aise hi hain...jab dekho roti rehti hain...ab aap bhi??
Kayaan:what do you mean??main hamesha roti rehti hoon??
Karan:of course Chashmish...
Kayaan:Karan tum
Aisha(interrpting them)enough both of you...and you(she asked holding Karan's ear)tum kaha the jab yeh sab ho raha tha...

Karan:batata hoon dii...par plz pehle mujhe yeh 3rd degree dena band karo...

Aisha(leaving his ear)ok tell

Karan:woh dii main park mein baccho ke sath tha...aur acha hua main time par pahuch gaya warna aaj toh world war 3 pakka tha...

Aisha : waise woh tha kaun??

Kayaan:pata nhi di...i don't want to see that Rash Driver ...never again in my life...

Karan:acha dii ab aap hi isse sambhalo...iske foot ki dressing kar do plz

Kayaan:kyun tumhe kaun sa important kaam aa gaya??

Karan:important kaam nhi hain...just than i need to get fresh...

Aisha:ok tum jao...i'll do it

Karan:waise dii...be careful...isne chilla-chilla kar mere kaano(ears)ka bura haal kar diya hain...mujhe darr hain kahi abhi se ear machines na lagani pade...

Kayaan took the cushion and threw at him...while he immediately left

Aisha came to her to dress her foot when Kayaan stopped her saying "dii aap rehne do i'll manage"

Aisha:kyun main karungi toh isme kya problem hain??

Kayaan:par di...aap toh bade ho na fir aap kaise mere paron ko hath laga sakti ho.??

Aisha:waise hi jaise tum laga sakti ho...now not a single word

As Aisha was about to apply the the cotton she also knew about Kayaan's fears and said "don't worry baut slowly lagaungi...bilkul dard nhi hoga...

After bandaging her foot Aisha went inside to feshnup.Meanwhile Kayaan sat on the steps of garden and was looking at the  kids were playing with a smile.Rahul came and sat beside her and she asked looking at his sad face"kya hua Rahul??"

Rahul:sorry dii...aapko meri wajah se chot lag gyi na??

Kayaan:nhi Champ its not because of you...but promise me one thing dobara kabhi bina bataye matt jaana...ok??

Rahul:promise dii...dobara nhi karunga...

Kayaan:good boy now cheer up and go and play with your friends...

Later her phone buzzed and seeing the caller's name a smile crept her face

she took the call and asked "aap kaise ho bhaiya and everyone else??"(it was Kunal's call)

Kunal:main theek hoon Pari aur baki sab bhi...but i guess tum theek nhi ho na??

Kayaan:nhi bhaiya main theek hoon...

Kunal:don't Pari...koshish bhi mat karo mujhse chupane ki ...so tell me kya hua hain??

Kayaan narrated both the incidents of mall and of the accident went she got to meet Arjun.

Kunal:Pari what's wrong with you???you didn't even bother to tell me?

Kayaan:nhi bhaiya aisa nhi hain...bas yeh sab itna important nhi tha jiske liya aap pareshan ho rahe ho...

Kuanl:par Pari mere liye tum toh important ho na...

Kayaan:i know ...aap pareshaan mat ho .main theek hoon

Kunal:plz beta tell me are you really ok??should i come to Mumbai??

Kayaan:no bhaiya main bilkul theek hoon...don't worry...i'll take care of myself aur aap shayad bhul rahe ho aapki Pari badi ho chuki hain...

Kunal:woh toh mujhe ache se pata hain meri Pari kitni badi ho gyi hain...isiliye toh aaj bhi apni chot par antiseptic lagwane se darti hain na??

Kayaan:bhaiya aap bhi??

Kunal:acha sorry...par beta tum kitni badi hi kyun na ho jao mere liye aaj bhi bacchi hi ho aur hamesha rahigi...and just remember agar meri zarorat ho toh bata dena i'll come ...waise woh Karan kaha hain???

Kayaan:abhi bulati hoon...

She called him and handed him the phone and both Karan and Kunal had their usual conversation about each other's well being .Later both Karan and Kainaat left for their hostel.

Meanwhile in ETF office Sameer noticed that his friend was restless so he went to talk to him.

Sameer:sab theek hain na Arjun???jab se hotel se wapas aaye ho pareshaan lag rahe ho??

Arjun also narrated about today's incident and also said "Sam i know galti meri thi and i would do everything to make it up and never do that again...but woh ladki...i just wish that i  never get to see her face again in my lifetime..."

Unknowingly both Arjun-Kainaat wished for same thing but only time would tell if their wish would come true or they'll again face each other

arjun was standing in the balcony with the wedding pic in his hands...he clearly remembered the day when he and roshni promised a lifetime together...but it has been almost 2 years when roshni broke her promise and left him all alone to face this world without her beside him...he looked at the moon and said "i miss you roshni...i really do..."...he closed his eyes allowing the tears which he had held in his eyes to flow down...he recalled his life's most precious moments when roshni was with him...and he could cherish those moments lifelong...after all, at present he  possessed her memories only...

sometimes his mind wondered why was he surviving??...he had no reason to life this burden full life...just that he was fulfilling his duty with full dedication and hard work...and this was all he could do...to live a meaningless but with an aim to protect the society and safeguard the innocent people...

few kms away one more heart was restless...
kainaat stood leaning onto the wall and looked at the moon from her room's window...her mind wanted to put aside the memories of today's incident but she was helpless...the person who stood so close to could never know that his gestures had arouse the storm within her which was silent till then...she cursed that moment when she met him and wished not to see his face again in her life...she just hated him for making turning her life upside down once again...

the night slowly passed away giving way to rays of sun to start one more fresh and hopeful day...

the day started off with new cases and criminals for etf...while karan and kainaat were in the cafeteria of the college...just then one of the student had switched to a news channel which praised ACP Arjun and the whole etf team for successfully handling a drug case and putting the criminals behind the bars...karan voiced out

karan- hey chashmish look aisha's dii team solved one more case successfully...(getting no response from her he again spoke)
karan- waise chashmish  unke senior ACP Arjun is amazing at his work too...look aaj firse saare news channel unhe praise kar rhe hain...what do you think???

kainaat- karan mujhe kisi hi ACP ke  baare mein sochne  mein interest nhi hain...not even that...kya naam bola tumne??
karan- ACP Arjun
kainaat- ya whatever...
karan- but chashmish he's a brave officer...and look the channel is also showing his photos(saying this he pointed at the tv which displayed arjun's pic...but since kayaan faced her back so she didn't saw the pic...also she was least interested in seeing his photo)
kainaat- karan mujhe unke photo dekhne ya unke baare mein baat karne mein koi interest nhi hain...he'll be the last person i would talk about...aur waise tum uss ACP ki side lena band karo...and one more thing aisha dii is also amazing at her work, whatever she does she's perfect at that...and plz finish this topic right now you know i don't like police officers...
karan- ok and i'm sorry chashmish i didn't wanted to hurt you
kainaat- its ok karan...i know that...but plz never again talk about the police officers to me...

saying this kayaan abruptly stopped when she heard the name 'MR. Himanshu Malhotra' (the famous business tycoon)on the news channel...and  she instantly stood up and looked back on the screen...

the channel telecasted his interview specifically about his new deals with international firms...kainaat froze at her place seeing him...the reporter came up with another question to "MR.Malhotra aapki only daughter what about her...will she be handling your empire and business soon??"

MR.Malhotra smile instantly vanished listening this question
and he answered "i guess this interview is about my professional life and not about my family...but still let me tell you i don't have any daughter...'she died a long time back'...and there's no use of talking about the person who are already dead and are of no importance..."

listening this kainaat was left behind with tears in her innocent eyes...she didn't want to create any scene so she rushed out of the cafe wiping away her tears harshly...

she hurriedly ran through the corridor and came out of the college premises to the small garden area of the college which was empty.
meanwhile karan ran behind her knowing that she was really hurt
as he reached the garden area he found her standing beside the bench and taking its support  and she was crying badly...he walked upto her and kept his hand on her shoulder...realizing a hand on her shoulder kayaan looked back at him...she couldn't hold up more and cried her heart out while hugging him...karan kept back his hand on her shoulder and the other one on her head...he didn't utter a single word seeing her broken state nor he stopped her as may by crying herself out her pains could lessen a bit...he gently caressed her head while she voiced out in the mid of her sobs..."woh...woh aisa...kyun kehte hain karan???...k...kya...kya galti thi meri???..."

karan moved back a bit and wiping off her tears he said
karan- koi galti nhi thi kayaan...you were not wrong ...what all happened it was no where your fault...and one day he and everyone would believe this and would be proud of you...

kainaat- karan  3 saal ho chuke hain aur inn saalo mein unhone ek baar bhi yeh jaane ki koshish nhi ki main theek hoon ya nhi ya phir zinda bhi hoon ya nhi...not a single time karan...itne saal ho chuke hain dekhe hue bas news channels aur magazines ke cover pages par hi dekha hain...i miss him and everyone...kya unka mann nhi karta mujhse milne ke liye ???...batao na karan...kyun dad ya koi aur mujhse milna ya baat nhi karna chahte???...where did i went wrong??

karan- you were never wrong kayaan...neither today nor that time...plz kayaan don't do to yourself...aur agar uncle tumse baat nhi karte ya milte nhi hain but that doesn't mean that he doesn't loves or cares for you...i'm sure soon he and everyone realize what they have done...par haan tab tak tumhare pass mujhe jhelne ke alaawa koi aure choice nhi hain...aur dekho tumne fir se ro kar apni nose red kar li...and you look really cute just like a small kid kayaan...(saying this he smiled at her)

listening his words she smiled a bit and said
kainaat- shut up karan...don't call me cute and i'm not a small kid...
karan- acha baba nhi kahunga...now don't cry anymore...warna main kunal bhaiya ko bata dunga...and he'll take the very next flight and come to mumbai...

kainaat- fine aur tum baat-baat par bhaiya ko beech mein lana band kar do...
karan- toh aur kya karun chashmish...jab tak unhe tumhare baare mein puchna na ho ki "pari theek hain??...pari ko kuch chahiye toh nhi  etc etc..." tab tak woh mujhse bhi kaha baat karte hain??

kainaat- seedhe-seedhe bolo na tum jealous ho rhe...
karan-jealous??me?? aur woh bhi tumse???
kainaat- yes kyunki bhaiya mujhse tumse zyaada pyaar karte hain...
karan- whatever chashmish...
kainaat- see i had told  you are jealous...
karan-  chashmish tum paagal ho gyi ho or should i say ''bhaiya's pari"
(kainaat glared at these words)
karan-ok sorry its only bhaiya who can call you that
kainaat- good and don't do that again warna iss baar main unhe bata dungi...
karan- grow up chashmish...tum bhaiya ko kyun beech mein laa rhi ho??
kainaat- really i grow up??you grow up...pehle kaun bhaiya ko beech mein laaya tha??
karan- so what??dobara toh tum layi naa??
kainaat- but you started it first..

karan - aur nhi toh kya main??
kainaat- of course its you...

there fights could never end and moreover after a long arguments they always forgot why they were fighting...but their fights and arguments were a part of their beautiful bond of bro-sis and friendship...

part1(a)

it was around 4 pm when the last class of the day got over...

students happily came out of their classes...in the mid of the crowd a girl dressed in white kurti with a blue jeans and a white stole around her neck with a pair of specs on her beautiful eyes...with no accessories and just small earings was going towards her hostel's room...behind her came a boy running saying 'wait kayaan'

listening his voice she stopped and turned to face him...before he could say further she voiced out ''kaha the tum aur aaj ke classes kyun nhi attend ki??"

the boy was karan, he smiled at her complains and said ''relax 'chashmish'...itna hyper kyun ho rhi ho??"

kainaat- main hyper nhi ho rhi hoon karan and will you plz stop calling me that??
karan- well i need to think...(he acted as if he was seriously thinking for a seconds n then spoke) so kayaan from my side its absolutely a big NOO...
kainaat-karan tum
karan(interuppting her)- ohho chashmish you know what you are my chashmish and my cutest n sweetest friend...
kainaat- its useless to argue with you...so tell me what do you want??
karan-matlab??
kainaat- matlab yeh tumne jo meri itni tareef ki hain to uske badle tumhe zaroor mujhse kuch chahiye hoga...so come out with it...
karan- kya chashmish tum mere baare mein aisa sochti ho???
(replied as if he was so very innocent while kainaat couldn't help but to smile at this cute expressions...)

kainaat- acha apna yeh drama band karo and tell...
karan- so chashmish mere saath restaurant chalogi???

kainaat- plz chashmish actually main sandhaya se milne jaa rha hoon and she wants to meet you as its a long time since you both have met ...

(sandhaya was karan love interest...they had met about a yr back  in a fest held in  their college...at first meeting both liked each other and slowly began to fall for each other...also kainaat and sandhaya became good friends)

kainaat- acha theek hain i'll come par usse pehle mujhe baccho ke liye gifts lene hain...2 weeks baad orphanage mein avinash ka b'day hain...and next weeks se assignments hain so i may not get enough time...
karan- no problem pehle hum gifts lenge ...waise chashmish tum unn baccho se bahut pyar karti ho na??

kainaat-haan karan...jab bhi unke saath time spend karti hoon to bahut acha lagta hain...and i can do everything that takes to make them smile n feel special...you know i can see my glimpse in them..."aur waise bhi aaj main unse alag nhi hoon..."

karan(understanding the pain behind her words he spoke up)why do you say that chashmish main ,kunal bhaiya(will be introduced later) sandhaya aur tumhari aisha dii hain na tumhare saath...and will always be there with you...acha yeh sab chodo we'll leave in next half an hour ok??

(kainaat felt blissful for having a friend who was more like a brother to her , her guardian angel kunal bhaiya  who were her strongest support system during her dark phase...also at present the kids of orphanage and aisha dii also became an important part of her life)

after having a fun time while shopping for kids the trio were heading towards a restaurant...but kayaan poked in between

kainaat- guys you two carry on i need to go...
sandhaya-but why kayaan??
kainaat- kuch nhi guys i'm a bit tired...
sandhaya- no problem kayaan we'll meet some other day again...
kainaa- no plz you both don't spoil your plan for me...
karan- but chashmish
kainaat(interrupting)its ok karan...plz you both go...
karan- ok fine i'll drop you back hostel and return...
kainaat- don't bother karan i'll take a walk to campus...
karan-shut up chashmish you can never bother me...
kainaat- ok...but i'll manage aur waise bhi hostel pass mein hi toh hain...i'll go myself don't worry...
karan(gave up on her requests)theek hain...but before that give those shopping bags i'll just go and keep them in the car...
kainaat-you give me the keys i'll go and keep...
karan-tumhare aage kabhi meri chalti hain kya??...ok take the keys...

(kainaat had purposely made an excuse as she didn't want to come in between her friends who were spending time with eacj other after many days...and she left to give the couple their private time and space)

kainaat took the keys and headed towards the parking area...unaware of the fact what time had enrolled for her...

in the other part of the city...the most efficient team who worked hard to safe guard the city was behind a gang who supplied drugs in pubs...the gang members got the hint of etf reaching their place so they were about to leave the place but to their bad luck the etf had already raid the place...

but the gang's leader and one of the men ran out of the place...shree and aisha stayed back to seal the areas while sameer and chotu ran behind that man and our super cop behind the leader of the gang...

the person fired a bullet in the air due which the people panicked took the advantage of the crowd on the road and ran inside the parking area of a building but how can someone escape from our super cop...

the parking area was almost vacant...kayaan placed the bags in the car and shutting the door she was just about to turn when someone firmly grabbed her hand and pulled her behind a nearby pillar...kayaan was shocked and was forced to follow the person but she was unable to see his face...until he  pulled her in front of him pinning her against the wall...before she could voice out something he covered her face with his palms...kayaan tried to push him away and seeing her struggling he held her firmly around her waist due to which she hit his chest with a jerk... and finally she was able to see his face properly...

kayaan saw that the person holding her closer to him looked to the other side as if searching for something...she caught his hand on her mouth and tried to free herself but his hold was tight enough...seeing her struggling more he gaze shifted to her...and he noticed her beautiful face and eyes behind her specs which completely reflected her innocence and fear...their eyes locked for a moment...whereas kayaan saw his intense black eyes which tried to say something...and in those few seconds kayaan stopped her attempts to free herself from that stranger and stood numb under his grip...she herself don't know why she did that...but soon her trance broke and she looked away from him and again tried to get out of his hold...

the person also came to the reality and seeing her fearful state and attempts to go away he finally  spoke up in a low voice
"calm down and listen to me i'll not harm you...i'm behind a criminal...so just stay  here for few minutes until i catch him...its for your safety...i'm removing my hand from your mouth but don't make any noise...and create trouble for us..."

saying this he removed his hand from her mouth while his other hand was still on her waist holding her closer to him...kayaan was really frightened to pay attention to his words her full concentration was on to free herself and get out of this mess any how...realizing his hand slipping away from her face she instantly pushed him away...

he again voiced out "maine kaha na tumhe
but before he could say anything further he felt a hard slap on his face...it took a second for him to realize that the girl raised her hand on him...he fumed with anger and  looked upto her and voiced outalmost yelling at her
"how dare you???
but kayaan interrupted him and yelled at him "and how dare you...and what else people like you expect after misbehaving with a girl??"
person- misbehave???have you gone crazy???and do you even realize what you have done and what can be the consequences on raising your hand on a po

kayaan thought he was another guy who would talk about his or his family's powerful connections so she cut short his words saying

kainaat- you know what i really don't care who you are and what can be the consequences...do you get that??

saying this kayaan immediately left not to extend the conversation further but on top of that she was really scared and wanted to leave asap...

he saw her walking away and fumed with anger...if he wasn't behind on his duty and if didn't had a criminal to catch he would have told her who he was and what consequences she could  face...

luckily she wasn't noticed while proceeding towards the lift by that gangster who was trying to hide himself...

she left the place in a hurry and went  to back to her friends...
she handed the keys to karan while karan n sandhaya noticed her
strange behavior n faded color of her face

karan-kya hua chashmish??
kainaat-nothing karan...i told you that i'm just tired i need to go ...don't worry abt me...you both enjoy

kayaan bid buy to them and immediately left as she preferred  to remain alone for sometime...karan realized this and thought to talk to her later


on the other hand arjun finally caught that criminal...andthe team returned back to their office after solving another case...but in the mid of all that arjun's mind wondered back to that girl who had dared to slap him and answered him back...

ACP Sameer Damsingh Rathore :(age 26) ETF's brave chief, caring towards all his team members and towards his  best buddy Arjun.

ACP Arjun Suryakant Rawte:(age 26) etf's second command and best friend of sameer. after the death of his beloved wife roshni in an accident he built a wall between himself n the world except his best friend sameer whose always there to support him. after roshni passed away he became rude n arrogant and never allows anyone to come near him

Aisha Kapoor,chotu n shree(age 25): same as in the show

and new fictional character:
Kainaat:(age 21)a simple,beautiful,reserved and innocent girl, fondly reffered as 'kayaan' by her dear ones .at present she is pursuing her degree in law and its her final year.
her only  friends are karan since school days and her aisha dii..
she is scared of police officers or rather hates them due to some horrible past encounters.she teaches dance in an orphanage whose caretaker is aisha's mother and she loves kainaat as her own daughter.

aisha n her mother knows kainaat since she was 19 yrs old when she came to mumbai to fulfill her dreams of becoming a lawyer. kainaat family had dis-owned her about 3 yrs back
but it was no where her fault. her father was a reputed businessman in delhi and her family always preferred to maintain their high class status and suppressed their daughter's fight for her justice 3 yrs back. later she came to mumbai on a scholarship in a reputed law college. she worked in an orphanage just to fill her life's void and  spent some happy moments with the kids. there only she met aisha and her mother.

arjun and kainaat.the 2 people who are completely opposite
and would hate each other after their first meeting but share a similar pain of loss.
